What colour carpet?

Moving into a new build and can’t paint for a year, the walls are bright white.

I would like a neutral carpet but not grey as it feels too cold. What colour should I be going for? I’m rubbish at this stuff!

What colour walls will you want eventually? Start with that, then find a carpet to match

Avoid grey.

Beige Berber is a good choice as it's not one colour all over, it's hard wearing and it's inexpensive if you want to change it once you've decorated.
