Tracking App for child

My son is off to senior school in September and I would like to add a tracking app to his phone, not because of anything bad but I would feel much better if I knew where he was, especially if he goes to the park with friends, at least I can check.
Does anyone have a good app they use?

We use Life360.

Life360. You can set boundaries around regular locations (home, school etc) and set it to send you a notification when they arrive/leave that location. Works across Apple or Android phones. It's really good.

I'll take a look, sounds like the sort of thing I need, thank you

Life360 kills battery and data. We just use findmyiphone now

I've been using life360 but wondered if there is a better alternative. Sometimes I get an alert that my daughter has left school when she hasn't! It randomly shows her somewhere else before refreshing back to where she actually is.

I have an iPhone and kids have android.

I never used such type of apps you are talking here. But I have heard about different apps that can be used to track your children location, phone tracking, data gathering and many more. You should try for them.

It'll just tell you where your child's phone is, not your child.

You are right here. But the phone should connect with your children and tell them to keep the phone always with them. otherwise you can find them easily. If they drop it somewhere free cell phone tracker will help to give the exact location not your children. LOL!
