I'm 19 weeks pregnant and for the past week have had a really sore tongue. Nothing has happened to it to hurt it (it's not been burnt or anything) but it's been so painful to eat or drink, although it doesn't hurt to brush my tongue when brushing teeth? 
I've noticed it's quite red in the middle, which it's not usually as red as this and my throat has been quite sore too, but not as bad as my tongue. My mum mentioned when she was pregnant she had oral thrush and it hurt her tongue but I've had a look on google and can't see any that really look like mine.
Any ideas? I'm hoping to pop into a pharmacy later but most are closed today so I need to try find an open one first!
