Airport times

I'm flying tomorrow from birm airport and it's the same day that strikes start for the security officers. Around 3/4 of the workforce.

I'm planning on getting to the airport 3 and half hours before my flight. I normally do 2.
Would this be sufficient enough time or am I setting myself up for failure?

I know none of you can predict what will happen tomorrow but a bit of experience if you can.
Like have there been delays that last hours or do things still get done just a bit of a wait?

Thanks

Like you said, no one can predict what it will be like. Saying that, we flew last year when the airports were crazy (Manchester though, not Brum) and airport staff were calling for passengers on flights that leave at x time to make themselves known so that they could be brought to the front of the queue to minimise missed flights. Hopefully it will be a similar experience.
