Ideas for keeping track of doses taken (spray)

This is going to sounds ridiculous, I know, but I've got a multivitamin spray that's four sprays daily, so I'm taking two lots of two per day. But I've been having terrible memory problems recently and I quite often can't remember if I've had the first two sprays or not. I know there's devices for pills but does anyone have an idea for tracking sprays? Thanks.

My dad takes multiple medications, he has a box thingy for the pills but with the liquid pain relief we've just drawn a grid with date at the top and times down the side and just put a tick in each square when we've given him a dose.

Set a reminder on your phone and tick it off when you've taken a dose.

Can you just take 4 sprays together? Does it need to be split?

madeinmanc · 16/07/2023 10:13

Yes, I was wanting to avoid the phone option because the memory problems are so bad that if I use the spray when I'm not near my phone I could well forget that I've taken it between where the spray is and walking back to my phone.

The grid idea is a good one, thank you 🙂

Taking them together is definitely allowed but causes stomach issues.

Ok, depending on the product: could you try 2 sprays before and 2 after the same meal?
Does it really matter if you miss 2 and have 2 per day?

Get 4 small elastic bands and put on the bottle. Take one off each spray, then replace them all for the next day.

OMG @Ariela you are a GENIUS! 😃
Using this!

My tip is get some spare bands as you'll loose at least one

Keep it by your toothbrush and do it then?

Ive been in a similar situation. What I did was, keep all the meds in a box with a pen and piece of paper and I wrote on the paper the time and dose whenever I took a thing. Then DH would check it for me every few hours so I hadn't missed anything or whenever I said "omg do you think I can take other codeine yet"!

I agree with your instinct not to use your phone. Too complicated when you're ill and therefore prone to light-headedness etc.
