Which books do your 6 year olds like?

Going to visit 6 year old nephew in a few weeks. He loves bedtime stories so want to get him a book. He loves football and Pokémon if that helps!

Please could you recommend some good books for him? Thanks

Rabbit and Bear if he's starting longer books (they're not chapters and plenty of pictures, but a little longer than a picture book). No football but very funny.

Spinderella or Christopher Nibble were some of my DS's favourite picture books with football in them ☺️

The book with no pictures is hilarious. Marcus Rashford has also written a couple of children's book (though an adult might need to read them to him).
