Waitrose flowers.. worried

Hi all…

I have ordered two bouquets of flowers to be delivered this week from Waitrose flowers.
Stupidly, I never read any reviews before ordering. I thought it would be okay.
Now I am panicking as I’ve read some truly awful reviews and the majority of the comments are the same: Waitrose flowers are not good.

Please can someone who has ordered or received flowers from them let me know how they were - only I am tempted to call them this morning and cancel the order and go elsewhere.

Thank you !

I’ve ordered from them many times and always been very happy.

Well that’s reassuring.. thank you .
I’m in the SE - I wonder if it’s due to locality hence the poor reviews.

I am really bothered about it as this is for two very lovely people and I just hope they will be okay.

I've ordered and had flowers delivered from Waitrose dozens of times and they've always been excellent.

I've never left a review saying that though. I'm in the south east.

Could the bad experiences have coincided with problems outside Waitrose's control such as problems with the delivery company or a busy time of year?

I can imagine if it's Mothers Day or similar the extra demand will mean that there's more pressure on the system and more people to be potentially disappointed?

I'm SW and always thought they were great.

Thats a good point. The reviews I saw were from this year up until a few weeks ago .

I’ve read the delivery company are Yodel. I have had experience of them myself and found them to be pants. But then in my experience lots of delivery companies are pants so that’s not unusual.

I have my fingers crossed 🤞 it’ll all be okay.

Waitrose and m&s flowers are lovely! Last ages too.

Mojitosaremyfavourite · 16/07/2023 08:02

I have read the delivery company yodel and notoriously bad: more reviews saying how terrible the flowers were ( damaged / not delivered etc).

I am going to give Waitrose florist a call this morning.

if you are not happy with them. message them. i messaged about a ready meal and they immediately refunded. their customer service is awesome!!

I’ve had Waitrose flowers which were fine, but have recently had ones from M&S which were so bad, they sent another bouquet. Not without difficulty though.
