My DC have high needs SEN. Their school, for the most part has been amazing. My daughter is now leaving to go to her specialist school. But my son will stay for at least another year.

Theres so many staff members i want to thank, SEND team is 3 people, SEN teachers 4, head teachers and deputy 3, pastoral and receptionist 2. I really want to get them something meaningful, or just something that would show just how much i appreciate them, but im not sure what?

I was thinking about getting a coffee machine and pods for the staff room? But is this a crap idea?

They have gone above and beyond for us as a family and have fought and fought for my daughters place in a special school. Including taking me to visit different schools as i dont drive.

Any ideas would be brilliant (i dont actually drink hot drinks so im not sure if its a terrible idea)

Thanks

I think that’s a wonderful idea personally. My daughter has special needs so I know how important these people are to you and i think a gift like that would mean a lot to them.

I think it would it would be a very nice idea but bear in mind that pods can be very expensive. How about getting them pods that can be refilled or a traditional filter / drip machine with a selection of ground coffees and insulted mugs so their brew stays hot
