Currently situation: staying in hotel with DH and DC (11 and 10 years) in the Scottish Highlands. Beautiful place. Went out for a few hours this evening to spot beavers 🦫 and have come back to find out our room is next to the wedding reception room. We saw the wedding taking place when we arrived. We hadn’t expected to have the dance floor in our room. No chance of any sleep for a good few hours. DC are still wide awake as it’s THAT loud. Hotel full so we can’t be moved.

So far we’ve had The Proclamers, Black Eyed Peas and now it’s Mambo Number 5. I would love to at least ask them to play Kenny Loggins or Tina. The guests are loving life and having a blast in their kilts and bucket hats.

Whitesnake!! Yes, I saw them live many many many years ago (might have got my bellybutton pierced in a very dodgy stand at Phoenix just before they came on). It’s on the list.
