I've gone and set myself up a new domain name for my business website and a Microsoft 365 email account using the same domain, all through GoDaddy.
All pretty straightforward, except - the first thing I discovered is that my website doesn't use the "www." prefix - not really a big deal I thought, as presumably most browsers will divert you to the non-www. version, however - I automatically prefixed it when sending a link to bank to be verified, and they said the link didn't work.
Also, when sending a couple of test emails from my new email account to another account, I noticed they went straight into my Spam folder, so presumably there is no security attached.
I don't have the technical know-how to fix this myself, and GoDaddy aren't being very helpful - I imagine such luxuries are going to be extra. They offer a single managed SSL for one domain but I don't think that will affect either issue.
Can anyone kindly point me towards some step-by-step instructions or explanations so I can work out what to do?
