What do I need to order from Ikea??

I've never been to Ikea. There's only one in Ireland, in Dublin and I'm at the opposite end of the country! Anyway it's looking like we're going to order some furniture from there and I'm wondering if there's anything small that is worth picking up.

Followed with great interest -

I like their sets of drawers. Think they're called Hermes or Hemnes

Their high chairs are fantastic OP if you got DC/GDC

This is a really small thing but their klippit-style bag seals are really cheap compared with eg supermarket ones.
I've spilled so many bags of rice/dried fruit/whatever that I use loads.

Socktapus or two.
Those shelves that let you get another layer of mugs in the cupboard.
Frames (measure up beforehand!).
Not the bobbly bath mats (they stink).

Their Bjorksnas bedroom furniture is really good quality and looks good. Their more expensive mattresses are excellent quality and good value. Mine was around £600 and is just as good as more expensive ones. Their food section is great.

Double check if they will deliver the small stuff. I think Dublin delivers the furniture separately to smaller items, so it might end up being a different order. It has been a while since I ordered though, so possibly remembering wrong!

IrritableVowel Will double check thanks! SIL ordered some furniture recently and got some fake plants so thought it would be ok!

My sisters interior designer got her two of these lamps which I have copied as they are fab.

they do great frames (albeit not glass but look like it)
great glasses of all types ; jugs and great towels that are actually absorbent

I love this side table we have https://www.ikea.com/ie/en/p/loevbacken-side-table-medium-brown-80270125/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=surfaces&utm_campaign=shopping_feed&utm_content=free_google_shopping_clicks_Livingroomseating

and they do handy little lamps for kids rooms

If you’re going go early and visit decathlon across the road which is also great x

Sounds hopeful so!

We got our sofa, wardrobes and beds from IKEA, as well as loads of kallax units and a couple of desks. I am happy with it all, it is good stuff.
