I need help choosing a camera for our holiday please. I’m going round and round in circles looking at different options as I don’t understand half of what they’re talking about.
Not sure if this exists for up to £500 budget but I need a camera that:
- can zoom into the distance and take a better quality photo than an iPhone. For example, take a photo of a bird in a tall tree.
- can take decent close ups. For example, a bug on a leaf.
- can take decent action shots.
- can video with more detail than an iPhone.
- can make me look like Julia Roberts 😂
I have been looking at the Olympus Tough as we will be on the water so the waterproofing was a positive. It also has a macro setting but I wasn’t sure how good the distance zoom is?
Ideally I would like a point and shoot type camera and not have to swap out lenses.
