The what are you doing today threads. I don't see them so much these days.

When I was going through IVF hell trying to conceive DC I used to read these threads and fantasise about family life.

So here I am, walking Ddog in the park, it's cold and very very windy in London today but that's ok because it means the park isn't bustling with summer tourists and it's just the locals.

DDs doing arts and crafts with DH at home and we are heading off the to cinema soon. DDs super excited about all the popcorn and sweeties they can eat.

Later we might go to a soft play or mooch around the shops, stopping for a hot chocolate. I need to get a leg wax at some point this afternoon too.

I'm going out tonight for some cocktails with my girlfriends - looking forward to getting dressed up!

What's happening in your home?

I was also going to say "a leg wax at some point"? I have to book mine weeks in advance to get someone on a Saturday 😂

My 5yo is at a bday party for one of his school friends and I'm just hanging out in the cafe having a coffee.

Dh and other dc are shopping for a present for another bday party tomorrow.

I'm tired and don't feel like doing anything much, so this arrangement suits me very well

I’ve got Covid so upstairs keeping away from everyone. I’ve changed the bedding and put away a couple of baskets of laundry. Warmed up some daal and rice that my MIL made for me. Relatives are here looking after DS whilst DH and my FIL are mowing the grass on our new ride on mower. I’ve been listening to a crime podcast and checking Instagram for new messages for my business.

I have been packing and pottering today as we're going on holiday tomorrow.

Went for a run this morning, did a monumental amount of ironing in front of the women's tennis final, and did a bit of primping - fake tanned my legs (I'm rubbish at it but fingers crossed doesn't look streaky) and painted my toenails. That's about the extent of my pre-holiday regime!
