Stuck in a+e with df after a fire, thankfully he seems to be ok but don't know how long we will be here.

I'm glad he seems okayish.That must of been a shock. Time passes really weirdly in hospitals at night, doesn't it?

Seems to be fine but they're keeping him overnight for observation
will be getting him an electric chip.pan🙄
thankfully the cats are ok as well

His kitchen is a bit of a mess with smoke through the rest of the house

Hello, I'm here too. Glad it wasn't any worse. In a non-critical way, I think this could be a good time for a safety review - he might be receptive. As well as the electric pan, good idea.💐

Hoping the night in hospital goes smoothly and no lasting effects for him

Was he injured? Or just a check up? Poor dad 😢

He's fine, kept in over night for observation. We've managed to get him a guest room in the local sheltered housing for up to 10 days as neither me nor my step sister have room for him to stay, this at least gives us some breathing space to
sort things out.
