Standardised scores on school reports

My Y4 child is dyslexic. Last year she scored 80 for reading. This year she scored 91. Is this a good improvement? The reason I ask is because over these last few months, she has been seeing a specialist dyslexia tutor and I’m wanting confirmation it is helping as it is very expensive! Apparently this score means she is working within the Y4 curriculum? Does this mean she has met expectations or is working within the average?

Don’t they tell you? We had a sheet saying 100-110 is working at expected level so 91 would be below, but a significant improvement.

No, we’ve had nothing. Last year the reports said between 95-110 was average. This year 91 has put her within the ‘working within category’ so I’m not sure if the bands have changed.
