What would you spend ridiculous amounts of money on?

I would buy lovely food from the farm shop every day. Gorgeous fresh fruit & veg, tasty (but extortionate), local cheeses and grass-fed meats. Never mind all the amazing deli stuff <drools>

I’d have a PA, a housekeeper and a private chef.

I’d have a beautiful home overlooking the sea and surrounded by countryside.

I’d have a hairdresser blow dry my hair every day.

I’d spend my time getting beauty treatments, going to exercise classes at a posh gym, eating out, hosting parties, travelling and volunteering.

Amazing food cooked by my own chef. I'd also have someone to drive me around.

Beautiful house (with lots of land) in the countryside with no neighbours for miles around. If I suddenly became rich I'd love to tell work to shove their job and I'd never work again if I could afford not to.

I doubt I'd suddenly become extravagant with the types of things I buy but I would like to do something to conserve old buildings if I could which I can imagine is incredibly expensive 😄.

I would get somebody to come into my house every single day just as I left for work to:

  • Make the beds
  • Clean the bathrooms
  • Empty the dishwasher
  • Empty the bins
  • Put a wash on
  • Give the house a quick tidy up

Rather like when you're on holiday and the maid comes in and cleans your room, like that, but for my whole house!

I've always said if I win the lottery, first thing I'm doing is a full weekly shop at M&S

Desdemonadryeyes · 14/07/2023 20:41

A private chef to cook me lovely food for every meal.

Frozzie1 · 14/07/2023 20:53

Have a chef deliver delicious evening meals and home baked bread and cakes ( I’m not a fan of cooking) every day

Aparecium · 14/07/2023 20:57

Personal trainer who would come to my house at least twice a week and do lots of different forms of exercise with me.

Massage or physio every week.

ManchesterLu · 14/07/2023 20:57

A cleaner, a gardener and - like you - I'd shop almost exclusively at our local farm shop.

MrsCharlieD · 15/07/2023 07:22

A chef and personal trainer, handbags and clothes and shoes In general. Diptyque candles, a housekeeper and gardener, tattoos, holidays. Honestly the list is endless'

Tell dd she can apply to any university she likes.
Get my tooth fixed.

Pollywoddles · 15/07/2023 07:32

An interior designer, a professional declutterer, a cleaner, a landscape gardener.

We recently renovated our house and with a toddler and both working full time it feels like there’s not enough time to get it all finished and at this point I just want it done.

New wardrobe, the only new stuff I’ve bought in the last two years has been nursing or maternity related.

Dacadactyl · 15/07/2023 07:33

First up, a country estate

Then a private chef, PT every day and massage therapist every day.

WaitingfortheTardis · 15/07/2023 07:36

Other than the boring things (mortgage, doing up house a bit etc), I'd like to build a sort of mini observatory so I can look at the stars up close from my own garden.
