Contraception - please help

Our contraception failed last night and I'm in a bit of a panic now. I've called my GP and the receptionist told me they don't "do" emergency contraception and to go and buy it. The nhs website says the GP can issue it?

Paying for it will be a bit of a struggle and I'm really panicking

Surely a GP/nurse can help?!

I think it's down to your individual GP however now that you can buy it over the counter I believe that's why some GPs have opted to push people that way due to budget/time/resources

Any ideas where else I can access for free? The only sexual health clinic near me seems to be open at totally random times!

Ring round different pharmacies and ask if they offer it for free? Or ring your local walk in centre.

Walk in will give you it for free.
