Help! I have a partial memory of a film running through my head and I can't place it. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
A hero has accidentally (I think) kidnapped the daughter of a rich and dangerous man.
In a moment of calm between action scenes the woman says she was kidnapped once before as a child. The kidnappers sent a pint of her blood to her father every week until he paid the ransom. Her father waited until 4 or 5 pints had been sent before he paid up, showing her how little he cared for her.
Any ideas? I keep picturing her as Gwyneth Paltrow but not convinced it was her.
