Didn't the little Bertie Bassett in Liquorice Allsorts used to be blue?

I've just got a bag for the first time in years and the little liquorice Bertie is black, I'm sure he used to be blue!

I thought so! And I'm sure he used to be more of a gummy type sweet rather than liquorice, didn't he? Why do they have to change things?! Ffs
