You tube shorts taken off by mistake

I know many hate them but I quite like shorts.

I use a laptop and I am using Chrome browser. Today by mistake I hit the little x by the shorts instead of clicking on the actual short. Now I can't work out how to get them back. Ive tried Google but all I get is the assumption I am on the app I can't find anywhere to explain how to get the suggestions back on a web browser.

Does anyone know, please?

Click the shorts button on the side bar. I've highlighted it on a screenshot for you. They won't show back up on your front page for a certain amount of time now.

I can see the shorts button and obviously get to them that way. However, is there no way of getting them back to the home screen?

It should show back up in about 30 days. I don't think there's any other way of getting the display back though.
