What did you get for your 4yr old son? Birthday gift ideas

As per the title I am looking for ideas on what to get our son for his 4th birthday. What went down well? What was a waste of money?!

(He has a train set, bike, little tykes car and kitchen from Xmas and other birthdays already)

A subscription to a farm/play area/dinosaur extravaganza thing just down the road. Expensive, but we've done a weekend half day there for most of the year.

Lego, there are some great 4 plus sets, although DS was pretty capable with it by then. A wooden fire station and a couple of fire engines. Probably paw patrol toys (he was obsessed).

A scooter and some dinosaurs as he's obsessed at the moment. He's also loving nerf gun stuff (cheap versions!) Other family members gifted him marvel figures.

A kite - still in use ten years on!

Books - like the Usborne lift-the-flap ones for non-fiction. Sticker books

We got dd for her 4th
10ft trampoline
A bike as she'd just learnt to ride with no stabilisers and hers was too small so needed anyway
Couple lego friends sets
Pjs with her favourite character
Kids nail varnish set
Bath bombs
Squshmallow
Tickets to a show
Some jewellery, not plastic but not real gold /silver. Like Claire accessories type stuff
Hair bits
Frustration
Snakes and ladders.
Swingball

Everyone else gives her mainly cash as she then chooses stuff thorough the year. It tends to last until the next birthday generally.

Magnatiles and kinetic sand went down a treat with my son.
