Wasp stung inside mouth?

I was drinking red wine, didn't look in the glass and turns out there was a wasp. It stung inside my cheek, near bottom front teeth. Spit the wine and wasp out. Have applied ice and rinsed with vinegar. It's a bit swollen and hard now. Any other ideas re what to do next? Thank you in advance.

Same happened to me with a fizzy drink in a can, I just took an antihistamine and I was fine, swelling quickly reduced.

God that must be painful !

Yes to an antihistamine, but I'd also contact 111 (or whatever the NHS no is) stings on the lip, in the mouth can swell up a lot.

This has unlocked a whole new fear for me!

My dad was stung on his tongue, advice was antihistamines.

My sister had this when we were children, she bit into an orange that had a wasp on. She hasn't eaten an orange since, but was OK within a couple of days.
