AXS Ticket Account Registration

As so many people are, I am hoping for Taylor Swift ticket codes this week! I am trying to make sure that Ticketmaster and AXS accounts are all ready to do. I am registered with AXS, but I cannot manage to get a credit card registered as it iss defaulting to US so won't accept a UK card / address. Nothing I have tried is working, if I initially ensure the Web address is set to /UK, it just defaults again when I go into the account section. The queue to get through to chat for help is ridiculously long! Has anyone had this or got any advice to get round it? It doesn't fill me with confidence that buying tickets will be straightforward, I am aware getting a code is a long shot anyway!

It doesn’t accept card details till you purchase. Unlike Ticketmaster where you can store them in advance. I had the same issue with AXS earlier this week. It asks for them when you first buy tickets and there’s an option to store for future. It gives you enough time to enter and check out. I know it’s stressful. Good luck. 💐

Thank you @GellerYeller . I did consider that, but it does have a section where you can add card details in your account? It just won't accept mine and keeps saying I'm not in region 1 and only having US on the drop down. I'm worried it will do the same if I get a chance to buy! It's great to hear you get through it though and there was time to add details that is reassuring! It would be nice if they made it as easy as possible really! So you have TS tickets?! I am very jealous but well done and I hope you have a fabulous time!

I had the same panic before the Taylor Swift pre-sale but I found a Tweet (from 2018) confirming that AXS doesn’t let you store your card details before you make your first purchase.

I’m not sure why it gives you the option if you have a US address but don’t worry, it doesn’t affect anything. I got my tickets and went through checkout without any hiccups.

@Notworryingdarling hi thankyou and yes Ialso tried to add my card details in advance and just got a red error message. The tweet referred to is the one I also saw I think! We have tickets, terrible seats but we have a HUGE Paramore and Taylor fan so was happy to take anything! I’ve never used AXS before. Good luck- come back and say how you got on! Tip, don’t refresh too much if it offers you choices of tickets at various price levels. I dithered and it told me I was a bot 😢. That was day one. Got mine on Wed. 🤞for you x

Have you tried on a different computer or devise?

I spent eight hours in a queue today to get an Taylor Swift Eras Tour re-sale ticket (Wembley 17th Aug) for my daughter via AXS. Trying to do the right thing and buying from AXS or Ticketmaster. I was successful getting a ticket but got to the payment section and AXS would not accept a UK Visa or Mastercard payment. I tried mine, my partner’s and my friend’s cards, and got the same error message asking me to use a different payment method. Where is the honesty and full transparency from AEG Presents and/or AXS and doing the right thing! They need to put this right, it is unfair when we are trying to do the right thing!
