Travel Insurance for EU citizens with Settled Status in UK

I am an EU citizen living in UK with Settled Status. I'm going back to my home country for a holiday and wonder what the best travel insurance would be.

Would a travel insurance based here cover me for loss of passport for example?

Yes, travel insurance should be taken out at the place of residence (so UK).
