Help me remember who this actress is please?

I woke up in the middle of the night and for some reason I was remembering some 80s (I think), tv adaptations of Danielle Steele books.
There was a while when there used to be mini series on tv quite regularly - my favourite was a Woman of Substance…
anyway…there were at least two based on Danielle Steele books, and if I remember rightly then the same actress played the lead more than once.
I thought it might have been Lindsey Wagner, but Google doesn’t seem to back that up.
Does anyone else remember?

No, she was the lead in a Woman of Substance , but that was based on a Barbara Taylor Bradford book, not Danielle Steele…sorry, I may have worded my initial post confusingly.

Not a series if I remember correctly but I remember seeing her in a movie that was based on a Danielle steel book. It think either the name of the book or the protagonist might have been Star.
