Anyone had a blocked saliva duct??

This is random but would love to hear of stories where this resolved itself as my 2.5
year old low muscle tone DD with additional needs has one currently. It’s about 3cm long and calcified. Hospital advise to give her lemon juice 4 times per day to see if saliva production will unblock but I just can’t see it working, in which case major surgery is required to remove.

Saliva stones isn't usually major surgery. In cooperative adults we don't even give anaesthetic just try and massage it out.

Hopefully it will come out on its own so you can avoid them being put to sleep though.
