Please help! My trainers stink like wotsits!

They got wet once when it rained it down and now they absolutely stink.
How the bloody hell do I get rid of the smell. Do I just bin?!

Put them in the washing machine

Wash them.

40C.

With vinegar, biological washing powder and a few drops of eucalyptus oil.

Line dry them.

Try soaking them in water with a scoop of bicarbonate of soda crystals in it then peg them out on the washing line on a sunny day until they're fully dry.

Wash them in the machine and then hang out to dry completely

Sprinkle with bicarbonate of soda inside, leave as long as poss then hoover out

And they won't get damaged in the wash? Can I chuck in with the other washing or wash them separately?

Put a big towel in with them
