Latitude Festival… baby and toddler… to go or not to go!?

That is the question!!

Baby will be almost 6 months, toddler is 3. When we booked baby was an amazing sleeper and this has now gone downhill. I hate camping and my husband is also not a fan but he’s really keen on the bands and I’m keen on some bands and what the rest of the festival has to offer.

We haven’t practised putting up our monster tent, we need to buy a few bits and hire a bigger car to get us there and I’m worried it’s just going to spend a fortune and be miserable.

Has anyone been to this festival or similar with young children and hated camping but still had a blast?! I feel like if I could just let go of no running water and my phobia of tents and be a cool hippy chill mum all will be fine but can I do that sleep deprived after a crap nights sleep?!

We have been to festivals with:

  1. DC1 - 8 months
  2. DC1 - 16 months
  3. DC1 - 3.5 years and DC2 1.5 years
  4. DC1 - 6 and DC2 4.

We missed a year between 2. and 3. when they would have been about 2.5 and 6 months. That just seemed like not enough hands between us to manage. Not that it isn't doable but if your ealready wavering about wanting to I wouldn't.
