BBC Presenter accused of soliciting child porn.
Conservative MP arrested 4 times and accused of rape, still standing for election. (Silence)
Rupert Murdoch and Johnson.

I've been wondering if they've been trying to bury something with the BBC presenter scandal. Especially with the denial from the alleged victim and the timing of the The Sun's accusations.

Absolutely casting red herrings to distract from Johnson.

George Osborne's wedding email got buried pretty effectively too. Plus when you google his wedding the top results are about Just Stop Oil confetti, yet they've denied it's them, and no one seems to have asked the 'protester' what it was about.

You all seem to know the stories so they've not been buried that well. 😄

There is definitely something going on. The young person in the present a scandal contacted the Sun the day before it came out with a story to say that the story was untrue. They still published the story.

And apparently we're just not going to talk about the email that was sent to all George Osborne's guests, which basically paints him as much worse than the Newsreader we mustn't name.

We are all weak anyway, no one will do anything about GO or uprise in protest at Boris so not sure it even matters. All of these stories are out there for people who want to find them (fairly easily).

All the issues are in the news. 8 of 9 people on here know about them. The papers always go after salacious stuff - look what happened over Phil Schofield. They'll publish what will bring them on the most money.
The WhatsApp message story has been going on forever, and it and the covid enquiry will still be going on after this bbc presenter story is over. Chill. You'll get you pound of flesh to slaver over.

They don’t have to pay the Sun, Murdock hates the BBC and is a massive Tory, obviously the paper is biased against the BBC and an opportunity to bash the Beeb & hide a big story about Boris is in their minds too good to pass.

It's ridiculous

Glad to see these conversations taking place. Gives me hope that the masses are not so blinkered these days, although I worry if it's too little too late - only the bravest dare question.

Thoughts I've had that I've not seen online:

• deep fake? hacked account? Entrapment by bots? (rival media playing the long/numbers game).
• online censorship - have you ever known it so compliant online? Almost like there's been a change ... testing new policies?
• strange happenings on certain person's twitter account today ... are we breaking the internet, or are they testing new tracking features?

100% the real losers will be us, when this story is used as a justification to remove more of our online privileges.

100% there is so much more to this story than we are being told, or will ever be told. 100% we are being manipulated by this story - even me, who's only posted on here once before, I feel compelled to join in the conversation.

Maybe, now we have each other's attention, we should be using this to our advantage, and not sinking into the obession that's been created for us 🤔
