NHS wait time for ultrasound

Referral made for continuous pelvic pain and other symptoms almost 3 months ago. Hospital is saying they can't even give a rough idea as there are so few appointments. On the verge of booking a private ultrasound, does anyone know what the NHS waitlist for a routine ultrasound should roughly be, before I book and pay privately?

I had to have one last year for pelvic painand only had to wait a few weeks but I got sent to a private hospital paid for by NHS.

The private hossy was looking for hernia. But prior to that I had transvaginal scan and ultrasound on my bladder and kidneys again very quickly within a few weeks.
