Deep clean - cost and how to find a good one?

My wet room (bathroom) is in dire need of a deep clean. I don't know anyone locally who has had one, so I'm wondering how I should choose a company? Google brings up loads locally. How much should it cost? (I'm in Oxfordshire).

Contact 3 of your local ones that comes up on Google and ask them. If the cost is broadly the same then that's how much it costs.

Ask for recommendations on https://nextdoor.co.uk/ or local Facebook pages.

Or just clean your bathroom yourself.

How do you mean by a "deep clean"? Are we talking mould etc? How many hours would it take etc?

SnowyMouse · 10/07/2023 15:58

Not mould, but ingrained dirt. I can't clean it myself, my carers do some cleaning but not this. I've attached a photo of the floor, which is the worst bit.

Which area of oxfordshire? I’ve used a couple of cleaners and if you’re in the right part of the county may be able to recommend

SnowyMouse · 10/07/2023 16:32

Oxford itself, I'd be grateful if you had recommendations.

I'm surprised your carers can't put some bleach on that and give it a good scrub.

I’m also disabled and usually carers are only allowed to do light cleaning (I have carers who would do that and ones that wouldn’t)

I’ve used daily poppins but not the Oxford franchise. I’ve also used the wantage branch of ultra home services (but am under the impression the same people run Oxford). It’s a while since I’ve used either I would say daily poppins was more reasonable cost, Ultra did a better job and were easier to deal with.

Thanks, that's really helpful.
