Am I entitled to a courtsey car

electric Car is 18 months old, under warranty. Went into garage last week and has still not been ‘diagnosed’ however I am being told they don’t know how long it will be and courtsey car I can only have got 1 day.

I am so stressed as I need my car for work, I work in the community as a district nurse and I have no way of getting about without my car. I have clinic lists all week for the next 2 months. Am I entitled to a courtsey car as car is still under warranty. I am
waiting for the manager to call back

I don’t think there’s any automatic right to a courtesy car. It’s a ‘courtesy’ provided at their discretion.

Your insurance company might cover one?

Have you taken it back to the dealership where you bought it, or just a local garage? What does the waranty cover as I'd expect that to cover the courtesy car.

You'd really have to ask them. We can't tell you what's in your contract when you purchased the vehicle.

You're not entitled to one by consumer law, I can tell you that.

Yes back to dealership where it was bought. It’s a manufacturing fault and under warranty but because they haven’t officially
diagnosed it they won’t supply the hire car but they have had it over a week now. I’m in work trying to sort it out. It’s a nightmare to be honest
