Has anyone stayed in a B&B that featured on Four in a Bed?

I have a few days to book a getaway but need to stay within reasonable distance from home in the S.E. thought it might be interesting to see if anyone's ever been, especially to a winning B&B.

Nope, but always wanted to go to the posh pair that ended up on gogglebox after being on the show, even just for one drink! Tell me story's if you have been, think it was in Sandwhich.

Yes,The Farrier in Cayton Bay. Absolutely beautiful and amazing food.

We had our wedding reception somewhere that won it- The Castle Hotel in Eynesford. We only had a small wedding so hired out every room and the majority of guests stayed over and we all had breakfast together the day after. It was wonderful.

Yes, a B&B in Yorkshire. It looked lovely on the show, although they didn't win but it was absolutely awful and we left after one night. The room we had was nothing like the rooms they showed on the show. It was dingy and dark and very noisy.

I haven't, but anyone who has, did you book because it was on the show?

When they owned it they had a 1 star for kitchen hygiene standards 🤢 and loads of bad reviews from customers. They sold the place in 2021.

Out of touch on the old celebrity gossip, cheers for the update! To be honest I would still have been happy to have a g&t in their 1* establishment for the experience!

I have with XH, but we stayed there twice before they appeared on the show. It was funny to watch them on it as they are quite quirky people but they were very true to themselves on the show, no game playing..

No, I’m fact we only found out they’d been on it after we’d booked (a Mnetter actually recommended it). We’ve never seen their week as it isn’t on 4OD, apparently due to an issue with someone else who was on their week.
