Do you ever feel scared when home alone?

I’m going to house sit for some friends soon. They live in the middle of nowhere, in an Elizabethan farm house. I don’t have a car so I’ll be there all on my own for a few days until dh can join me, as he has meetings in person.

I’m just starting to worry I might get scared being in a big old house all alone!

would be a bit scared alone in the country though. Reminds me of withnail and I ‘those are kind of windows faces look in at!’

Yep I'm scared on my own in the house.
When I get home from work I check all rooms, sleep with the hallway light on, lock the bedroom door, spend ages checking that all windows and doors are locked, I even close all the blinds before it gets dark as I don't like looking outside into the dark, I put a lamp on in the bedroom before it gets dark.
I'm a right fanny 😁

I'm the same. A complete wuss 😂
