Food smells on skin

I shower in the morning. Some days when I shower I can smell the previous night’s supper. Last week I could smell the scampi (oven baked) for the next 2 mornings. It also happens with beef burgers. It doesn’t seem to happen with chicken, pizza or roasts for example.

Does this happen to anyone else? Any ways to stop it other than avoiding those foods?

Yes! Especially beef type products eg if I've had spaghetti bolognaise

I think certain foods can get up your nostrils so you smell them even when you don't smell of them iyswim.

And some foods do seem to seep out of pores or cling to clothes.

I always use one of those odour remover stainless steel bars after cooking. Works a treat.

I find my hair absorbs cooking smells. The worst culprit is roast pork with crackling!!!
The only way for me to get rid of it is to wash my hair, so now I wear a shower cap whilst cooking
