Currently on 23 years engaged, 31 together - partner proposed all those years ago, popped a ring on on my finger but has since admitted he never intended to marry as just doesn't like being centre of attention and the fuss - all the time knowing that I would have loved to. Begs the question what was the point of the proposal and ring 💍?

Anyway, can anyone beat 23 years and if so what's the reason that you never married?

Did you want to get married and do you think you will?

I wanted to be married. Never wanted a wedding. We are taking about getting married next year when we hit 30 years 😁

If you have assets over £325k each, best get married for inheritance tax purposes! That includes your house

My auntie and uncle got engaged when they met at 17 ... There now 70 and still haven't tied the knot though she does use his surname.
