I am totally completely alone (for a week)

I am an introvert and this is my Christmas.

DH has gone camping.
DD is on a school trip abroad.

This is the first time I am totally completely alone in my house for over 14 years. In fact, the last time I was alone we lived in a different house.

I have to go to work (2 days in the office, 3 days wfh) and look after the veg garden but apart from that I have zero commitments. I can’t even go to the gym because I’m recovering from an op.

OP as soon as I saw the thread title I thought “aah - bliss”. Love being alone to the extent that I worry I have reclusive tendencies. Anyway - enjoy!

@BlackAmericanoNoSugar your week sounds awesome. I intend on doing a raid on DD's sock drawer to reclaim my socks that she swears she doesn't have. Any bets on how many pairs I find?

This is why I’m glad I don’t ski- DH takes DS without me.

This is me as well! Single mum and kids leave in about an hour for 9 days. I'll be working 5 of them with 4 off.

Havent formulated a proper plan for every day but I'm not a fan of much alone time so I've got a fair few plans already for different sections of the week.

I'm blaming baby brain for the fact that it's taken me about 5 whole minutes to get why you said 'this is my Christmas' 😂

Sounds heavenly, enjoy!

That sounds amazing. I'd have a loose meal plan in place with snacks and lots of decent tv and films to watch
