I am going on mu first holiday in 5 years tomorrow...what have I forgotten to do or pack??
Going to Spain if that helps

A light pashmina to use as a pillow on the plane or cover your shoulders if chilly
Check phone coverage/charges for using in Spain
Notify your bank so they don't block your cards

cancelled any regular deliveries like milk/Gusto/whatever

Plug converter thing

Contact lenses (if you wear them, always my nightmare that I forget them!)

Got 2 'kids' staying home. So the house is their problem!!

I always forget my sunglasses, as a result I have about 6 pairs as I have to go to accessorise at the airport every year 😂

Passport, travel details (mine are just on my phone so also phone!), keys for coming back home, parking at the airport details, medication if you take it, chargers. Everything else is a bonus, if you’re going to Spain you will be able to get absolutely anything you’ve forgotten. I’m a very light and speedy packer, rarely forget anything but purposely head to sunglass hut at the airport to pick myself up some new sunnies each holiday, it’s my treat for getting on a plane which I hate 😂

Just relax, pack what you normally pack. Once you have a passport, travel insurance/meds/ and a debit/credit card you have everything you need, or can buy it there.

Will you have cooking facilities or eating out mostly?

I take tea bags and dd had some of these flavoured coffee sachets.

Previously we have the breakfast then beer and snacks for lunch then a nice dinner.
It's just a hotel room, so no facilities do much.

I always take a few clothes pegs to clip my towel to the sun lounger so it doesn't blow away and for sealing half eaten bags of any snacks!

Also twice as many knickers as nights. There is nothing worse than getting showered to go out in the evening and not having clean knickers to put on!

Sanitary products if you're due on at any point in the next two weeks because we all know our bodies like to screw us

And a paper copy of your boarding passes in case your phone dies.

I ended up using norethisterone to delay my period. Dreading the period I'm going to get now!

My savvy travel truck it take a 1m extension and one travel adapter. You can plug phone charger / hairdryer etc into one extension and only need one travel adapter ! X

If you have adult children at home, I would put a note on the fridge with a list of all the things they have to do before you get back. Itemise absolutely everything! And yes, of course you shouldn't have to, but it will make life much easier if you do
