Why have you done today?

Today so far I have

Blitzed the living room inc moving furniture and giving it a thoroughly good clean.
Stripped and washed all the bedding and towels
Hung out laundry
Hoovered the whole house
Ventured into the shared teens bedroom and tidied and cleaned it
Picked up the dog poo
Mopped floors
Took DS to a football match this morning

I am shattered, I've still the beds to make and bathroom to clean, oh and dinner and packed lunches to do!!

Lazed around this morning watching tv with DS and then decided I should do something productive so have dismantled DS’s wardrobe and taken all the bits outside ready to go to the tip at some point. Then I took the new wardrobe out of its many boxes and carted it all upstairs ready to build. However it’s unpleasantly humid here and I felt in danger of melting so I’m currently sitting on my bed with my neck fan on, eating an ice cream and scrolling on Mumsnet 😊

Only my third load of washing, second on the line. Argued with my mother and cut her and my father out of my line. Cleaned the bathroom and toilet.
cleaned my hoover as it conked out(hope it works again).
mowed the back garden
nipped to the shop twice
Washed up twice

scrubbed sick off my sons floor
put the washing away
half built the sideboard (waiting to finish when my daughter sleeps)
I’ve got so much to do before I go to sleep but I definitely need wine and to start tea.
it is also day 1 of quitting smoking

Why do I do any day?

Gardening. All day. I’m pooped.

I’m just about to finish up and get a roast dinner on, including making a batch gluten and egg free Yorkshires.

I also popped to the shop and stocked up on movie snacks so we can chill out with a film later on.

Ooh, must fit in the Sunday skincare pamper after shower this evening too.

Took dd to work at 6am
Cleaned the kitchen
Done 3 loads of washing
Cleaned the bathroom
Been shopping
Put stuff in the loft
Gutted dd's bedroom, it was a tip
Now scrolling on Mumsnet before making tea.
DH has cut the garden hedges and is watching F1
Roll on wine o clock

Anybody else helping? Cos this is a s* deal.

I’m on holiday so I had breakfast and have lazed by the pool or in the pool all day. Bliss.

My Sundays are usually spent cleaning and tidying and getting ready for work on Monday.

Dropped off child off for a litter pick.

Gym.
Laundry & ironing.
Watched tennis & Queer Eye.

Filled a green garden recycle bin, H did a tip run, put last odds away from camping residential last week, prepped curry just need to throw it together in a bit once F1 over.

Intend on reading weekend papers once dinner made and school bags packed

Woke up at 6am. Rudely awoken by DD4 hanging over me like the girl from the ring..
Stripped down beds, changed bedding.
Put two loads of washing on and hung up.
Serviced the washing machine, cleaned the drawer, filter and drum.
Prepped roast dinner.
Made lunch for DD4.
Went swimming for an hour.
Took some clothes to the donation bin on way home.
Put swimming stuff in wash.
Put roast dinner on.
Prepped lunch for work tomorrow.
Practiced reading and writing with DD4.

Still have to:
Serve up roast dinner shortly
Wash up and tidy kitchen
Hang up swimming stuff
Reading with DD
Bath, bedtime for DD
Paint my nails as they're chipped.
Collapse into bed by which point I'm drooling with one eye closed and one eye open 🤤

Not a lot. My daughter made lunch (ham and cheese toasties and salad) and, for the very first time, mowed the lawn!
I cleaned up after lunch and will put a load of laundry on soon. Took care of the pets but other than cooking dinner and maybe a little bit of tidying do not plan on anything else. Got a busy week ahead driving four to six hours a day so do not feel pushed to do much.

Went to a soft play with the children to meet a friend and their children. went to the shop, baked cakes and now cooking a roast 😋

@Freshair1 nope no one else helping I've got the house to myself for the first time in ages so I've been able to crack on.

DH is working so if he had been around he would have shared some of the load with me otherwise.

Wow, most have you have been very busy! I took DH a cup of tea in bed and I did an hour on my bike. DH made a roast lamb dinner which I really enjoyed. I Uploaded a couple of things on Vinted, one of which sold straightaway, so I've packaged it and taken it to a locker. I'm now going to eat some Minstrels

2 hours walk with the dog

Up at 6 for a sports tournament for a team that I coach. Just on the way home. Absolutely bushed!

Made breakfast unpacked and re packed dishwasher
3 loads of washing
Went out for a coffee
Did a 1 hour tarot reading for a client
Revised for my course
Cleaned the kitchen bin
Got some milk and bits in
Made lunch
Having a rest currently!

Very little. Got up around 7.30 am, had a large coffee, took the dogs down the field and threw balls for a while, back indoors, reheated dhal for breakfast, then an hour or so in Elder Scrolls Online (game). Emptied the dishwasher, emptied the kitchen bins. Reminded DH to get his washing out of the machine and hang it up. Mumsnetted for a while, husband went to the pub with his friend. Made an interesting stuffing and stuffed it in a chicken (bulgur wheat, preserved lemon, garlic, chilli flakes, mint, coriander, and parsley), boiled new potatoes then crushed them with a meat hammer (very satisfying!). Chicken and potatoes roasting in oven at the moment, chianti in my glass. Mumsnetting again, debating which vegetables to cook to go with the dinner. Husband watching F1, I think, though he says it's just ended. A lovely Sunday.

Amended a holiday with Jet 2 was very surprised it was such good customer service.

Had lunch at parents

Made some flatbreads and had them with bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes with DH and DS. Met my mate had a picnic lunch and walked round a lovely country park for 4 hours.

Watching last 30 mins if a horror film, DH hates them. Having dinner soon, I will cook, they will clear up and then watching our box set. Possibly play our video game together.

Went to Mass. went on a long walk ( with a pub stop) then made home made dumplings with DD. Now contemplating how the hell to get a massive sofa out the lounge, ready for the delivery of the new one tomorrow

M&S for groceries, lunch out with DH, visited my Dad (and made his tea).

quite a productive Sunday, problem is now I can’t sleep
