Living above a pub

Hi All, I'm looking advice,
My partners lives above a pub they do have band nights. It is actually in the pub upstairs. I am currently living at my parents however I'm really not happy about staying here, its not happy environment. I am planning on living half and half but now I'm thinking about permanent moving in with him. However I have alot of anxieties about being there with a baby I'm due very soon and I don't think it's suitable for a new born to be above a pub. Has anyone else lived or living above a pub with a new born or children. Very undecided

My DH was born in a house opposite to a church with the most noisy bell ringing you could imagine. That practiced every Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on Sundays they had full loud bell ringing as LL morning and a smaller version before evening service. He slept through the lot. I think you get accustomed to loud noises so you don't hear them. When we visit his Mum who still lives there it drives me nuts it's so loud he still doesn't really notice them.

Pubs will also have recycling collections (lots of smashing bottles) and beer deliveries early in the morning, and people leaving and making noise late at night. That might be a dealbreaker for you but for me, it would depend on the area and rent price.
