I'm going to an 80s weekend. The friends I'm going with love a bit of dressing up, I don't.
It's not that I mind looking stupid, I can't wear things that are uncomfortable and it's a weekend in August so could be hot too.
One friend is going full on Cindi Lauper, another as Tom Cruise in Top Gun.
My plan is a (reproduction) tshirt from a cultural event that happened in the 80s, with denim shorts (or drainpipe jeans, depending on the weather) and white trainers. Am I going to look like the girl who doesn't know how to have fun?
