i've always been a big fan of juices and have an juicer which I use a lot, but now I'd like to get into smoothies as I think it's healthier. This year I have kale and swiss chard in the garden so am ready to get started.
I don't have a smoothie maker but I do have a food processor which does puree stuff. I usually make celery juice, which I wanted to mix with some green stuff (I desperately need to bring my health in order) so planned to juice the celery and puree the greens, however the greens although pureed, still aren't small enough to make the drink pleasurable. Maybe I didn't puree them long enough (probably just a couple of minutes) If anyone reading this has a smoothie maker, approx how long do you let it run for leafy green stuff? Any help would be much appreciated.
