One of my Vinted items has been 'cloned' and listed on someone else's account! How to report to Vinted??

Just had a message on Vinted from someone who's spotted that an item of mine has been 'cloned'. I've checked and they are definitely using my photos. Any idea how I report this to Vinted??

When I go to 'report', none of the options apply to this situation.

Happened to me last week. You click on the 3 dots in the top right of the clone post and press report - I just wrote “this it my item, they have cloned” or something like that. Within a few hours it had been removed.

Thank you. Have just done that. God, I'm so annoyed! They didn't even bother changing the background or anything! Fuckers.

Why do people do this? What's the benefit to the cloner?

Is it a high value item? I don’t see the point otherwise, some stuff sits on vinted for months so it’s hardly a quick scam

I’m assuming it’s because they want to build up credibility by cloning posts? So when they do scam others, people mistakenly assume that the scammer is an established/experienced seller?

I don’t really get it either as the money only gets paid to the seller once the buyer receives the item doesn’t it?

Update: It looks like the listing was removed, by the seller or Vinted I don't know as Vinted haven't responded to my message!

@Banjaxx - it's a brand new item with tags still on. Retailed for about £75 and I'm selling for £35 - it is high compared to my other items.

@AProlificNameChanger - I'm not sure how that would work as they are clearly new, and have no reviews and no other items.

Keep an eye on things as mine was cloned three times. Likely the same person! I looked through their other items and they were all cloned.

@Scalessayeek - will certainly do that now I know this happens! Honestly, it's so bloody annoying.

Is it at all possible they’re (genuinely) selling the same item and rather than go to the ‘trouble’ of taking their own photos, have just screen shot yours (I use ‘trouble’ as I appreciate its not a particularly lengthy exercise)

@Chenford - I considered that possibility, but some of the listing details were very specific and they copied all that too.
