Having a CD player fitted in a car ?

I really miss not being able to play CD’s in my car, and I don’t want to pay again to get them on iTunes.
Has anyone had one fitted ? Are there wires all over, is it OK ?

You're better off going onto an old PC at the library or something and copying over the mp3 files from the CDs into a folder and then uploading to an mp3 player

It really depends on the car.

Posted too soon. Mine (72 VW) has a blank plate in the glove box where a car player would go.

How old is the car? What make/model is it?

Are you going from a normal radio (old style) a CD player is an easy change.

We did this in our old car. Was a bit more fiddly than just sticking CDs on but is a much easier and cheaper than getting a CD fitted.

You can get compact cd players that you plug into the usb socket of a car. My ex had one and it saved him having to transfer them all across to mp3
