As the title says.

2 years ago we did a haven site. Dc now 5 has mentioned daily they want to go again. But last year couldn't afford to go. However last Nov we booked to go this summer, each time dcs have asked we've said oh well see its lots of money to go.

Weve kept it quiet so long. They know dh has a week off and we'll do something nice.
I can pack day before without them seeing as they'll be at holiday club. And load into the car

We can get on site in the afternoon.
So plan to get up in the morning as usual, showers, etc
Then at breakfast tell them. But thought a nice note with riddle be nice especially as dc loves learning to read.

Wanted to include packing some toys their self to take to play in the caravan, coloring, bedtime books maybe ill go get them a bag each to use?

Or is that a shit idea.

I think it’s a lovely idea. Keep it short and simple for them to read. We did similar last year with a trip and did a little treasure hunt around the house and the last clue was telling them where we were going.
