How will Amazon make this refund to me?

They're refunding me for a faulty item however since I purchased the item 9 months ago, I've had a new bank card come through

They've advised via email that they're refunding back to my old card that I used to purchase (same bank) so will I receive this refund back ok?

Not ime. I had a similar issue but, as it was only for £8, I let it go. It wasn’t worth the hassle to peruse it.

Maybe contact support & ask them to credit it by voucher or something if they can’t put it in your bank account.

I had this and asked for a virtual gift card instead, to avoid any issues, which they applied to my account instantly.

I've had refunds go through from previous card number. Perhaps call the credit card co, as it might sit in a holding account until they assign it to you. If no luck today, try on Monday in case the correct team only work normal business hours.

Contact them (or ask them to ring you). Their support is excellent.
