To the women who love getting ready

I know it’s not cash mumsnetty to be overly into your looks but I love every bit of getting ready and spent an hour a day doing so. 2 hours for a special occasion.

today though I’m tired and have to hype myself up a little for a special night out so I’m asking you all what you’re favourite part of getting ready is. I’ve done my nails so that’s checked off!

I only really spend time "getting ready" when I'm going out for drinks, but my favourite bit about it is clocking off kid Duty and getting a few hours to "get ready". I mainly lie down after a shower with a glass of fizz then at some point muster the energy to quickly do hair and makeup.

My favourite part is anything done at my vanity so I'm sitting on a chair and relaxing. Bathing (where I'm not just laying there) and getting dressed feels like a chore.

2 hours! How? I'm interested what takes that long...

Same - I can’t imagine taking 2 hours

Very easily. Doing my makeup , hair, eyelashes. All very easily takes 2 hours 😂
