Looking for apps for my Dc, aged 11, to support learning English. Will read E.g. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson but has had little practice writing English. We speak English at home, but goes to school in a different language so has never officially learnt English as a subject at school, so probably has the vocabulary level and grasp of grammar of a slightly younger child.
I'm looking for recommendations of apps - ones you buy outright, not ones with a subscription - like the reading eggs 2 but more advanced.
