Hi - tried to sell something earlier and it set at small package. Now it says postage at £0.- there wasn't an option to add any?

It's all done via Evri so the buyer pays and you print out a label, stick it on and drop parcel off

Don't quote me as someone with a bit more knowledge may know, but I think if you're a new seller then the first sale is free if you send with evri parcelshop.

Chchicken · 07/07/2023 18:09

You don’t take anything to do with the postage.. itl probably be an Evri label but it doesn’t show you a cost. just make sure on your settings for postage you don’t have every one on or you could be going to drop things off at 5 different places

Oh thank you. Maybe I need to check settings I was rushing and stressed as dd said she'd help and then couldn't. I'm always a bit useless at this stuff.

It’s determined when you set your parcel size. Vinted offer free postage for your first sale but they’ll send you a label to print or QR code to scan so it doesn’t cost you

Ellemeg82 · 07/07/2023 19:08

Is it your first sale on vinted? If so your first buyer gets postage for free which is why it says zero.
Going forward when you lost an item just select the parcel size.
You won't see how much postage is as the buyer will pay it when they buy your item.
Go into settings to check which postage options you have available. For example if you just want to use Evri, Yodel or don't mind using all of them

Oh thank you what a relief. I have some people 'interested' and a message offering 3/4 of a fairly low price. Not sure what to say so haven't answered.

So I've sold a couple items but one person hasn't collected - I sent within the five working days but I don't think it arrived until the day they wanted it for. Does anyone know if they can leave it and not collect? Do I pay for return postage?
Also, stuff is only sold really cheap, like under £5 for clothes etc. is that right?
