I saw an accident waiting to happen this morning and still failed to prevent it. Does anyone else do stupid things like this?
Had thrown out some flowers and left the vase of stinky water on the bedside table. I actually remembered I'd forgotten to empty it and thought "First thing i'll do when I go upstairs is empty that water, otherwise l'll just knock it all over the carpet"
Went into the room ten mins later, leant over to open the window first, and knocked the feckin vase flying as I stepped back, soaking the carpet in stinky water. Carpet now stinks and I'm feeling like a right twat.
